 Update... Minimize

Well we did it! An amazing adventure through 10 countries - and almost 1/3rd of the way around the world. We'll try to update this properly soon with stories and photos from the journey - but for now a very quick but huge thank you to everyone that supported us - and to all of you who donated. We raised an amazing amount and are truely grateful to each of you.

Message from Paul:-

"Hi,  Hideous detour! now @ Naranbalag near Hyargas Nuur (lake) about to go east heading for Nomrog, then back on track.   Hard going, V hot, Cars doing better than us!  P&Z"

The original planned route was Mongol border, Tsagaanauur, Nogoonnur, Turgen, Ulaangom, Zuungovi, Baruunturuun, Bayantes, Asgat, Tudevtey, Nomrog.......

It looks like this has been abandoned for a route further south. Naranbulag is 70k SE of Ulaangom and is just west of a big lake (Hyargas Nuur) which has a road running along its north shore, heading directly for Tudevtey and Nomrog. I guess we'll have to wait to find out why the diversion, but other cars have mentioned swollen rivers.
